Website privacy
Cookies and similar browser storage help websites remember information. Broadlink uses necessary cookies for core functions and gives visitors control over optional functional, analytics, and marketing categories.
1. Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies cannot be switched off through the preference center because they support security and services requested by the visitor. Depending on how the site is used, they may include:
| Cookie or family | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
broadlink_cookie_consent |
Remembers the visitor’s cookie choices. | 180 days |
wordpress_* and wordpress_logged_in_* |
Authenticates authorized WordPress users and protects administrative sessions. | Session or sign-in period |
wp_woocommerce_session_* |
Supports a WooCommerce shopping session when commerce features are used. | Typically up to two days |
woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart |
Helps WooCommerce recognize cart changes and contents. | Session |
2. Optional categories
- Functional: may remember optional settings or support enhanced services such as maps, embedded video, or chat when enabled.
- Analytics: may help Broadlink understand site use and performance when an analytics service is enabled.
- Marketing: may support advertising measurement or personalization if Broadlink adds those tools.
At publication, Broadlink’s public homepage did not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, or Hotjar. Optional categories are off by default.
3. Make or change a choice
Visitors can accept all optional categories, reject non-essential cookies, or select categories individually. The Cookie preferences control remains available in the site footer and lower corner so a choice can be changed later.
4. Browser controls
Most browsers also allow cookies to be viewed, blocked, or deleted. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent account, cart, security, or preference features from working correctly. Browser controls are separate from Broadlink’s preference center.
5. Changes and contact
This policy will be updated if the site adds new cookie categories or third-party tracking services. Questions may be submitted through Broadlink Support.
